- After using a Clymer manual for my BMW airhead, I was disappointed in the Haynes manual for my Triumph. The Haynes / Triumph manual just did not have the detail and illustrations that the BMW / Clymer manual has. I ended up finding / buying an old used OEM shop manual for the Triumph - which is a great resource. If you are into the details like me, one needs more than this Haynes manual provides.
- I bought this to help me restore a 1970 Bonneville that I bought for my daughter. Although I'm still getting needed parts around for the project, I've read the book cover to cover to familiarize myself with the bike. Just like all of my other Haynes manuals, this will be a valuable refference book during and after the project.
